A Confessional Church
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”
Romans 1:16

Doctrine and Beliefs
We are a Reformed and Presbyterian church in the Pittsburgh Presbytery (PCA) located in the heart of Scottdale, PA. Our beliefs are best described by the Westminster Confession of Faith, and its Larger and Shorter catechisms.
Theology of Worship
Our worship is God centered and in the name of the only savior, Jesus Christ. We believe that worship is commanded by the Lord and prescribed by the Lord. As such, our worship is guided by biblical principles.
Our worship services express the biblical elements of a call to worship, the reading of scripture, singing, prayer, confession of sin, assurance of forgiveness, the sacraments, the preaching of God’s good word, affirmation of faith, and a benediction.
We believe that as we faithfully and regularly gather in the spirit of joy and reverence, ascribing honor and power and glory to the living and true God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – that He indeed meets with His people and grants us His merciful, loving, and gracious presence.
